Sensei Nigel Nikolaisen is a 5th degree black belt in Shito-Ryu Karate Do certified by the World Shito-Ryu Karate Federation and Karate Canada. Nigel had a successful competition career as both a kata and kumite competitor. Through his 15 year stint as a high-level athlete, Nigel earned himself 4 national titles, over 20 provincial titles and also a Kubota World Cup grand champion tittle in Toronto, 2003. As a long time member of the National Karate Team, Nigel Sensei had the opportunity to tour much of North and South America as well as parts of Europe.  It was during his travels where he met his Sensei, Sam Moledzki 8th Dan Chief Instructor of the Shito-Kai Canada Association. Since retiring from competition in 2005, Nigel Senseis focus has shifted into instruction and an in-depth understanding of the art of Karate Do. Now with over 20 years of instructional experience and 30 plus years of Karate study, Sensei Nikolaisen is proud to offer a unique, invigorating and inspirational learning experience while also upholding the highest standard of quality and tradition.
